It doesn’t get any simpler or down home than this – our straight up 4 ingredient rub, totally amazingly delicious on everything we ever put it on – meats, veggies, you name it. Great on eggs in the morning, in salad dressings in the afternoon, and on your steak at dinner time. The mother of all dry rubs. The dry rubs all other dry rubs needs to take a page from. Paleo friendly – no namby-pamby sugar in this one – its pure taste, no chaser.
Some say the barbeque capital of the world (although North Carolina might disagree), we picked up this recipe in my travels through Kansas City and made a few tweaks – it’s that awesome sweet smokiness that you would expect from a Kansas City rub – this is my total go-to rub on ribs, and it’s pretty freaking awesome on chicken wings too. Just toss pat-dried thawed wings in a big Ziploc bag with a few tablespoons, then pour onto a cookie sheet on parchment paper then bake till done. Finger licking good. Seriously.
