We hand grind dried ancho chili direct from Mexican farms into a fine powder and blend it with other spices and a little sweetness to complement the heat. This a fantastic rub for anything and everything Mexican, but it also goes great with chicken, pork or steak and a Corona, Dos Equis, or Estrella Jalisco
A delectable maple sugar-based concoction. Definitely not for the diabetic, this rub starts with clear notes of maple and sugar, and transitions into the fullness of garlic and that snap of black pepper. Really nice with lighter meats like chicken or pork. Delicate & sweet, would be super awesome on salmon and other fish!
Straight outta Chicago, this strong and powerful rub won't back down or take no for an answer - it's both tough as nails and warm as toast - with a delicious base of garlic and mustard, it's no slouch with the sweet smoky paprika and a cayenne kick.
This brash, outspoken rub commands the flavors of your steak. A perfect rub for your New York Steak, the salt is subdued under sweet garlickiness, paprika, and cumin. It’s bold, it's self-assured, its knows where it’s going and it’s going to get there come hell or high water. Strong flavor, great with steak or ribs. Awesome on chicken wings too.
It doesn’t get any simpler or down home than this – our straight up 4 ingredient rub, totally amazingly delicious on everything we ever put it on – meats, veggies, you name it. Great on eggs in the morning, in salad dressings in the afternoon, and on your steak at dinner time. The mother of all dry rubs. The dry rubs all other dry rubs needs to take a page from. Paleo friendly – no namby-pamby sugar in this one – its pure taste, no chaser.
Some say the barbeque capital of the world (although North Carolina might disagree), we picked up this recipe in my travels through Kansas City and made a few tweaks – it’s that awesome sweet smokiness that you would expect from a Kansas City rub – this is my total go-to rub on ribs, and it’s pretty freaking awesome on chicken wings too. Just toss pat-dried thawed wings in a big Ziploc bag with a few tablespoons, then pour onto a cookie sheet on parchment paper then bake till done. Finger licking good. Seriously.
Ever driven through Gilroy, California in the late summer, surrounded by the wonderful aromas of garlic beautifully ripe? Blend that with a delicious mustard base and you have the best of all possible rubs for your prime rib or steak. It’s so flavorful you don’t need anything else, just coat the outside of your roast in this, leave it to sit for a little bit, roast away and have the best roast you’ve ever tasted. The rub is great on veggies too, especially green ones like asparagus and broccoli.
Sprinkle a little of this rub on your salad, chicken or veggies, take a bite and be instantly transported to this rubs namesake, replete with its whitewashed cave houses ringing the cliff, surrounded by the deep blue sea. Perfect for the Mediterranean diet, the gentle, herby flavors go great with chicken, pork or veggies of all kinds. Great as a Greek salad dressing mix too – just mix with a little olive oil and red wine vinegar and bring on the Feta. Opa!
It's no secret that Sriracha is fast becoming, or may already be, the most popular condiment in the United States? I remember when I was first introduced to it - there really is nothing like that super tasty combination of heat and garlic - I put it on almost anything. Not many may realize that Sriracha is named after a city in Thailand, named, Sri Racha - so when it came down to coming up with a name of the newest member of our little rub family, it was easy. Our Sri Racha rub is painstakingly made by first smoking Sriracha sauce in the Traeger smoker, using selected hardwoods to impact a gentle smoky flavor to the rub. Once the sauce is dry, we break it up and blend it with other spices and a little sweetness to complement the heat. Try this rub today, you will not be disappointed.
